Mumbai Set For Inauguration Of Uran Railway Line Phase 2

The inauguration also includes the opening of the newly constructed Digha Gaon railway station on the trans-harbour line. The project faced delays due to compensation issues with local villagers, but it is expected to significantly reduce travel time between CSMT and Uran, facilitating smoother transportation to the upcoming Navi Mumbai Airport. While the project faced challenges like technical glitches and cost overruns, the railway officials are preparing for the launch of local services in the final phase.
