The DPJ-Hosur section doesnt have too many SF trains ( only one intercity) when compared to the ED-Salem-JTJ section which has Shatabdi, & VB. So if they want to get some mileage routing it via HSRA might be the way to go, however running it in good speed with less time in this 200 km Salem-BYPL stretch is going to be a challenge.
