Rakesh Kumar, who was traveling to Delhi with his family, highlighted the financial and mental stress caused by the train cancellation. Local trains were also cancelled, forcing passengers to rely on buses or other means to travel to Gorakhpur, Gonda, and Ayodhya. The cancelled local trains include the 05031-05032 Gonda-Gorakhpur passenger, and the 05093-05094 Gorakhpur-Ayodhya passenger trains.
