India's Civil Aviation Minister, Jyotiraditya Scindia, unveiled the future plans for the aviation and railway sectors. By 2030, India will have over 200 airports. and 2027. The second airport in Navi Mumbai is slated to be operational by the end of next year, and the airport in Jewar will also start functioning by the end of next year. The Ayodhya airport is ready for inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi later this month, with flights to commence shortly after. The government is promoting collaboration between departments to expedite the approval process for both public and private investments. The Ayodhya airport's first phase has been completed, and flights from Delhi and Mumbai are expected to commence later this year.
