The AIRWO has been demanding the withdrawal of the NPS and the reinstatement of the old pension scheme, along with other grievances, such as opposition to railway privatization, appointment of qualified personnel for vacancies, cancellation of the labor code, implementation of recruitment processes for vacant railway positions, and hiring permanent staff instead of contract workers. They have sent several letters to the government regarding these demands but have not received a response. The AIRWO will send another letter to the government 45 days before the proposed strike date and will proceed with the strike if no positive response is received.

AIRWO NPS ko vapas karne aur purane pension scheme ko laane ki demand kar raha hai, saath hi aur bhi grievances hain, jaise ki railway privatization ka virodh, khali jagah pe qualified logon ki appointment, labour code ko cancel karna, railway ki khali jagah pe recruitment process shuru karna, aur contract workers ki jagah permanent staff hire karna. Unhone sarkar ko in demands ke baare mein kaafi letters bheje hain par koi response nahi aaya. AIRWO strike ke 45 din pehle sarkar ko dusra letter bhejega aur agar positive response nahi aata toh strike kar dega.
