Hauled by a beautiful looking and whining 22739 MGS shed WAP- 4, the 30 minutes late running 12304 New Delhi (NDLS)- Howrah (HWH) POORVA Superfast Express (via Patna) cruises through the Down main line, and simultaneously accelerates through Mirzapur Bankipur station on HB Chord enroute.

more... per a document released by the Railway board, all the three rakes of POORVA will be LHB-fied under priority basis, which will allow this heritage train to run at 120- 130 km/hr. And quite a few Sleeper coaches, AC Sleeper coaches and EOGs have already arrived at Howrah from RCF, Kapurthala.
12303/ 12304 POORVA Express via Patna runs 4 days a week, and follows the New Delhi- Kanpur- Allahabad- Mughal Sarai- Danapur- Patna- Asansol- Burdwan- Howrah route. It gets a single WAP-4 for the whole journey.
12381/ 12382 POORVA Express via Gaya, Varanasi runs 3 days a week, and follows the New Delhi- Kanpur- Allahabad- Varanasi- Mughal Sarai- Gaya- Dhanbad- Asansol- Burdwan- Howrah route. It gets a WAP-4 between NDLS and ALD, then a WDM- 3A between ALD and MGS, and again a WAP-4/ GMO WAP-7 between MGS and HWH..
