One glaring option is in front of Railways. Scrap the morning Tejas from LJN and start a sixteen [ I think that's the length of a long VB, right] coacher VB to NDLS. It will get easily filled since both Lucknow and Kanpur are dedicated to it. Lucknow to Delhi is ~6 hrs more or less depending on stoppage pattern and ~4 hrs for LKO to GKP making it ~10 hrs sitting for an end to end passenger from NDLS to GKP.
I think such a VB in theory can still run,...
more... maybe because many pax will cut/start their journey from LKO/CNB only and it can provide faster connectivity for GKP - CNB especially in the morning/evening time.
please wait...Translate to EnglishThere's a super obvious option for the Railways. Scrap the morning Tejas from LJN and start a long-ass VB with sixteen coaches to NDLS. It'll fill up easily 'cause both Lucknow and Kanpur are all about it. Lucknow to Delhi takes around 6 hours, give or take depending on the stops, and LKO to GKP takes about 4 hours, so it's like a 10-hour journey from NDLS to GKP.
I think this VB idea could still work 'cause lots of passengers would start or end their trip from LKO/CNB only and it'll give a faster connection for GKP - CNB, especially in the morning or evening.
