1. Freight traffic be regulated up to a capping for each section so that there remains free maintenance period for overhaul of tracks, switch overs, signaling and other control related systems.
2. Unrealistic target of 75 VBs a year is putting undue pressure on technical officers and crew and is playing somewhere in their mind. It should be done away with. Routine safety and maintenance of regular M/E/other non premium trains automatically takes...

...and that 12864 got entangled into this accident due to late running of 3.5 hrs, would have escaped this had it run on time. Anyways who can escape the destiny. Could have been another train on another date
A few days ago I was heavily criticised by one RF whom I have blocked now for saying why does Mumbai Goa need a VB when we already have two dedicated premium trains ie. Tejas and JNS instead heavily crowded trains like Vasco Patna weekly should be given frequency increase instead of focussing only on the rich tourists who come to Goa for vacations. I was criticised for my point saying I'm a Goan and have personally seen the rush of poor and middle class UP and Bihar migrants in Vasco Patna SF. I even said if Mumbai Goa VB is added then Tejas should be cancelled but no he said why should only Goans decide what trains they want and not Mumbai. Unfortunately these RFs are also so blinded in love for VB they forget that transportation for these migrants is much more important than for the tourists. And if...
