Agreed with you but the 8 Car rake approach seems to have been a regular CC for all trains abroad.
As stated yes the routes needs to be studied to ensure that a 16C VB rake runs full throughout the year but what about those pockets where a 8C train is assured to run full but filling 16C is out of question. Till now we had Shatabdi only in such revenue earning routes but with VB, last mile fast and premium rail connect is being offered to Indian public isn't it?
