New Delhi Bi-Weekly Superfast at its tremendous best with a deadly WAP-7 at MPS!!!
.
.
The fastest non-elite train to travel between Kolkata and Delhi, i.e. the 12323 Howrah (HWH)- New Delhi (NDLS) Bi-Weekly Superfast Express headed by an off-link GZB WAP- 7 blasts through Mirzapur Bankipur station on HB Chord enroute at its flat alloted MPS of 110 km/hr.
The...
more... regular link of this train is a HWH WAP- 4. It follows the Howrah- Burdwan- Asansol- Dhanbad- Gaya- Mughal Sarai- Allahabad- Kanpur Central- New Delhi route, and takes 22 hours to cover the entire distance at an average speed of 65 km/hr.
It was a welcome relief for me to catch this train, because earlier on six occasions, I had missed the video of this train, either due to crawling action, or unavoidable circumstances. And seeing the train with a WAP -7, at 110 km/hr was an icing on the cake for me.
