New division at Mangalore is a distant dream.
So, it is better to realign all divisions in TN KA AND KL.
1. Attach MAQ and surrounding areas upto Mangalore port MAJN etc to SWR Mysore division or to KR Karwar division. Around 40 kms.

3. For the loss of TVC division areas, QLN SCT can be given from Madurai division. 100 kms.
4. To compensate Madurai division loss, Pollachi to Podanur can be attached (as it was earlier).
5. For minor loss of Salem division, Omalur to Dharmapuri can be attached from SBC division.
As. Bangalore division is very big, there is no need to give more areas.
Karnataka gets benefitted by more intra state trains to Mangalore.
Kerala gets benefitted as only two divisions in Kerala.
TN gets benefitted by more trains from Coimbatore to south TN.
