While acknowledging that PF is an issue in the morning peak hours at YPR& SBC, Iam unable to understand why Chalukya are made to crawl and block peak route in SWR in peak hours. TEN Chalukya reaches Salem by night 2200 and reaches Hosur by 0200. But it is in YPR till 0630, blocking lines and platforms at YPR. Similarly, PDY chalukya reached KJM very early and blocks JTJ line and PF at YPR.
Similarly, SUR HAS SF blocks YPR PF for almost one hour due to loco reversal and TT....
more... As already a Mangalore train available in the morning, this etension to Hassan itself is a wrong decision. On top of this, timings. If this SF goes to Mysore, we get one PF free in the morning hours. Atleast we get a really good train from MYS to North Karnataka.
Basava crawls from YNK for almost 2 hours, making it totally unpleasant journey.
Story repeat in the evening hours. HAS SUR SF blocking PF and one hour blockage by Chalukya.
MYS KCVL blocks the track for one hour at Bangalore. MYS BGK Basava crawls and blocks tracks till it reaches YNK @ 1800.
If these problems are addressed properly, we can make NCJ SBC to reach SBC before 0730. KCVL GR can reach by 0830 at YPR. BAND Has can go to SBC/ YPR by 0900. Even KCVL MYS can cross Bangalore before 0730.
PF issues are not real reasons. Some other reasons will be there.
