1. DHN-PRYJ division meeting points has some steep gradients, therefore coal laden freights from SGRL side usually avoid going into PRYJ from CPU-CAR side. Rather they use the Billi JN byepass to avoid CPU and undergo a LR at GHD to join the GC at Son-nagar. Imagine if direct freight handover was possible between DHN and PRYJ divisions, the lengthy detour via DDU division can be completely avoided.
2. The LR at BKRA and CPU can be easily avoided if water filling facilities come up at SGRL and DTO respectively. Then PTRU and OBR can easily developed as satellite stations for BKRA and CPU. Then water filling can be conducted at DHN-DTO-SGRL-KMZ respectively. The LR is only conducted to ensure water...

3. Hopefully JBP-DHN-PRYJ divisions all take this cash-cow line seriously and upgrade this DHN-KTE stretch asap, after that many trains in DDU-PCOI line can be diverted by the CIC.
4. I wonder what happened to the Barwadih-Ambikapukur line. It would directly connect DHN & BSP divisions with each other. It would be 'freight heaven' on completion :p
