There was a time when this train belonged to Northern Railways. There was a time when its windows didn't have Ads. There was a time when this train used to go with Diesel Locos. On one such Occasion, my friend Nitin & I thought of going somewhere far to spot this train; a place where both of us had been to only once prior to that. We zeroed in upon Kuchesar road. Weighing in all our options, we decided to take an early morning Metro ride to Anand Vihar & board a bus to Kuchesar. U.P. Roadways buses are usually quite fast and if full, they don't stop at any place unnecessarily.

our luck had almost dried up that day. In spite of being full, our bus stopped at many places to take in more passengers. We managed one seat and Nitin preferred to stand. Dibrugarh Rajdhani Exp usually crossed Kuchesar at about quarter to 11. So we kept an eye on the watch at all times. The bus dropped us at Kuchesar at around 10:40, with minutes to spare; both of us ditched the road and galloped towards the station through the fields in between the Highway and the station Premises. Imagine our Horror when we heard a honk just then. We were almost near the station, but in no position to cross the home stretch - a small ditch; without missing the train. So, we stood where we were and immediately pulled out our respective cameras to get the video.

Thankfully, the rest of the day was pretty much uneventful. We returned by train to avoid any further hassles. It was cheaper and more convenient than buses.
