There is a need to further improve the connectivity between Mumbai, Pune and North - East Karnataka, which hosts certain tourist places as well like Vijaypura, Badami, Hampi (Hospete). Many natives of this region reside in Mumbai - Pune too!

Bro, slong with your point it would be nice to introduce a train between Vijayapura and Chennai via Guntakal,Ballary,Gadag and Bagalkot. Chennai needs connectivity with these places too.
