Bangalore stoppage for this train is going to be shifted to TCTB once that terminal is ready. However, loco reversal will be there at TCTB. Also, this train has to cross busy MAS line twice - once to enter TCTB and again to join Hosur line.
I have a suggestion. Can this train take Chalukya slot from Mumbai to Bangalore, so that it can enter TCTB and leave without loco reversal? Chalukya can take LTT CBE slot and run via KJM to PDY as well as TEN. Both trains will get faster.

in return direction, this will act as a ONT between CBE and Bangalore. Will get enough time for cleaning and maintenance works at CBE. Now, hardly any time at CBE and notorious for delays.

Opinions please.

I agree with you. My intention of suggestion was to avoid wastage of time of Chalukya and LTT CBE trains. If an aggressive TT is given to both Chalukya, and made to run via KJM, it will avoid loco reversal. If you see the Up train, it crawls in and around Bangalore for 3 hours. LTT CBE crawls in DMM SBC stretch.
If CBE gets a train via Konkan, this LTT CBE can get different slot with ONT between CBE and Bangalore and morning dep from Bangalore to Mumbai.

LTT CBE is taking 2 night and one day, but CBE LTT wastes 2 days and one night. For a traveler from CBE, 2 days are lost. If it starts at CBE by say 2130, crosses Bangalore next morning and reach Mumbai next day, it would make excellent connection.

Yes. Probably an idea that can be explored. The time could be somewhat similar to what Udyan express has from CSMT to SBC but in reverse direction i.e departing in the morning around 8am from SBC and reaching next day ( 24 hrs) around same time in CSMT. Only issue is arrival time at CSMT/LTT when it will be peak hours and lots of arrivals in CSMT/LTT

Udyan should get speeded up by atleast 2 -3 hours. From Mumbai, it should start by noon and reach SBC by 9 AM. Return should start by 1800 and reach Mumbai by 1500.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
