I agree with you. My intention of suggestion was to avoid wastage of time of Chalukya and LTT CBE trains. If an aggressive TT is given to both Chalukya, and made to run via KJM, it will avoid loco reversal. If you see the Up train, it crawls in and around Bangalore for 3 hours. LTT CBE crawls in DMM SBC stretch.
If CBE gets a train via Konkan, this LTT CBE can get different slot with ONT between CBE and Bangalore and morning dep from Bangalore to Mumbai.

more... LTT CBE is taking 2 night and one day, but CBE LTT wastes 2 days and one night. For a traveler from CBE, 2 days are lost. If it starts at CBE by say 2130, crosses Bangalore next morning and reach Mumbai next day, it would make excellent connection.
