Presenting my birthday special blog. Had been gifted with an opportunity to celebrate my birthday yesterday(22/06/2019) with Madurai divn.'s pride Pandian Express and my favourite white stallion RPM's 37037(DLW's product). The rake was sparkling clean and was neat inside too except for H1 as the paint on its outer had faded. Most of the coaches had CUB advertisements and some pictures of Tamilnadu temples. Front EOG was of Antyodaya livery and rear one was of the usual livery. Another DLW P7 was resting near PF.No.5. 30366 and a WAP4 were resting near PF.No.1. GOC WDP4D was the link for 22624 MS SF. MDU station is very clean and well maintained. And the announcements made at MDU follows the same style as that made in MAS/MS. But at MDU, it was much louder and clear.Have uploaded the announcement of our train. This style of announcent is my favourite. 37037 was already...

So, had some time to watch Pandian attacking the wayside stations. Stayed on LB till KQN to watch the crossover of up and down line. This section is quite unique from the rest of the double line sections in IR due to the terrain. Before KQN and near the crossover bridge, P7 negotiated a huge curve and the LP flashed green light and the guard acknowledged the same. Post KQN, I retired to my UB. Woke up post MBM. We reached MS slightly delayed on PF.No.7. Tejas was being shunted by TNP alco. Rockfort, MAQ and Uzhavan had already arrived. Overall, it was a wonderful gift in the form of an LHB SL ride with twin tone honking DLW made HOG RPM WAP7 and with some awesome track sounds.
