You are completely wrong.
The edfc and wdfc are being made in order to shift max goods train of ndls- cnb-ald-ddu-gaya route on edfc and nzm-jp-ahmedabad-mumbai route on wdfc.
No passenger train will run on these DFC tracks.
Out of these, in edfc khurja- bhadan section was partially opened in December 2018 and bhadan to bhaupur near kanpur will be ready by this december....
Similarly Ateli-Phulera section on wdfc is already working and full jaipur-alwar section will be started by this December.
Tracks of these DFCs are of heavier density along with heavier concrete sleepers under the tracks, so that goods train which runs at max 70-75 kmph speed can run upto 100 kmph speed on these DFCs.
So, for example, mother diary milk/icecream etc which takes 40-48 hrs on normal tracks by goods train to reach hwh from ndls due to stoppages of cold storage goods train to let pass passenger trains, can now reach in 20-24 hrs after entire DFC starts (as there will be no stoppages and goods train can run continuosly on DFCs except 05-10 minutes crew changes in between)
Similarly, Amul products from ahmedabad can reach delhi/mumbai in 10-12 hours.
