$ Present Status:-
1. Moranhat - Chaulkhowa (44.00 km ) section commissioned for passenger traffic on 28.04.2009.
2. North Bank and South Bank Guide Bund completed.
3. Out of total 41 Nos. of Girder ( 39 Nos. Main Girder and Two end spans) . 40 Nos. girder (Including one End span Girder) has been launched till 1.12.2017.TDC for Girder launching: Dec-2017.

Nos. Deck slab including one end span of road portion of the bridge has been completed. TDC for Deck Slab Road Concreting =March 2018.
5. All works of North bank Road Viaduct completed.For South bank Road Viaduct, out of Total 34 Nos. spans, 25 Nos. of span have been completed. Balance work of 9 Nos. spans of South bank Road Viaduct will be taken
up after completion of launching of last girder of Main Bridge.TDC for Road Viaduct-May 2018
6. At present, Works are in progress for Track linking at North Bank rail link (Tangani-Sisibargaon-North Jn) and Track linking of South bank rail link ( Dhamalgaon to Tangani including Y link on south bank), Station
Building of Tangani including Road over Bridge (ROB) at South Bank.
7. Progress & Planning for NH works :
South Bank= 2.00 km out of total 8.50 km completed. TDC for NH South Bank= (6.50 km out of 8.50 km will be completed by Sept 2017.The ROB is critical and will be completed by 30.06.2018).NH Contract has been
terminated. Work of ROB is balance, for which tender has been invited by CE/PWD/NH. ROB super structure work has been agreed to be done by Rly in view of the termination of PWD contract. Balance work of NH
approach & ROB substructure will be done by CE/PWD/NH, Govt. of Assam.

iii. NH Approaches are being executed by Chief Engineer, PWD/NH, Govt. of Assam.
