The LKO shatabdi started as CNB shatabdi and was later extended to LKO. The JHS shatabdi was already extended to BPL by the time the new shatabdi to CNB was introduced and was already enjoying high speed runs with exceptional priority when the CNB shatabdi was extended to LKO.
Another fact to illustrate the higher priority of the BPL shatabdi was that the LKO/CNB shatabdi was only given a clearance for 120kmph despite running with the same WAP3 locomotive that the BPL shatabdi used for 140+kmph runs.
