Don't know whether Ministry of Rlys got mad or what..New Bongaigaon GHY double line has been approved but via Goalpara? & Ministry cites the excuse as it'll help to reduce the traffic which will increase manifold after Bogibeel completion.
For everyones information, NBQ GHY via RNY is the older version & length is 156 km whereas via Goalpara it is 186 km,after completion of Bogibeel more trains are expected to move via RNY as Upper Bank will get same priority as lower bank...by all means traffic via Rangiya will increase.. So how come they decided to double via GLPT?
