old port station yard ! it itself has only 4 lines i guess, where the goods @ Port/NFCL/GFCL are being regulated. Now circar occupying one, will be as a hurdle i suppose.
I Believe SCR BZA divn changed the circar express arrival/departure timings at COA, because of construction works at CCT & COA. Post construction they may speed up.
Yeah, 4 through lines + 2 sidings that terminate just before the old station building ( One of them is the famous Coconut siding :) ). I couldn't clearly observe which track it was put on though, because of the curve just before the port station ( The railway gate between the new port station and the C&W works is my usual hangout spot). But usually Circar was parked on the old station platform line or the 2nd line. If HYB special was also in the yard, then one of them used the parking lanes and the other used the port station yard.

Yes, that was what I got to know from the C&W people. With new trains like Cocanada and LTT also staying idle during daytime, and the rather frequent specials to HYB/TPTY also staying at COA during day time, all three PF lines at the COA station were being used up leaving only one line for freight. And CCT 3rd PF and SPV PF lines are being used for freights only. Once everything is complete, Circar will revert to it's previous timings, unless it is speeded up.
C&W expansion is also in the pipeline. There is enough space between the C&W parking lines and the old port station yard for 1-2 pit lines + 2-3 parking lines. I...

Except for a FB post (its official - 4th pf and 3rd pitline for kakinada) , there was no news anywhere regarding the 3rd pitline and havent spotted any tender regarding the same.
Yes the site u were referring can be easily used for expansion of C&W. Keeping Pitlines aside, parking line are needed on priorty. there's still a lot of unused slot in the current 2 pitlines itself.
