It is bound to get controversial bro. I'm not telling to add LHB to all trains immediately. But consequently all trains need LHB as we cannot wait untill some accidents happen. And there is no major or minor term in accidents because afterall it is a loss either to IR or to the passengers. It may take time to LHbfi all trains but let's wait as they certaintly score heavier when compared to ICF.

Thats right..but why can't we develop our own technology like lhb..it will help in cost cutting of coach manufacturing..A lhb train of 22 coaches costs a whooping 70-80 crore rupees and if there are three rakes then it will cost around a whooping 200 crore rupees...dont you think 200 crores for a single train is bit too high ??

Yes it is high at present scenario but right now we don't have that technology. May be in future we may develop but for the time being let us at least provide LHB to all long running trains. ICF at the current scenario for such long running trains is providing a lot of discomfort to travellers. Hopefully in future we have some cheaper technology than LHB which we can accept :)

If we talk about allotment of LHB coaches and cost thereof there are many more to consider...

As of date more than 300 LHB coaches are lying idle and rusted throughout IR just bcoz in some cases CRS clearance is not received or because non availability of EOGs....This is a purely waste of Taxpayers hard earned money....
