Swift offlink BRC WAP-5 with 24 coaches Mewar Superfast trying out its level best astonishingly!!!
.
Video No.- 1384
Beautiful looking 30075 BRC WAP- 5 tries its level best, as it gets the duty of hauling the 24 coaches long 12964 Udaipur City (UDZ)- Delhi Hazrat Nizamuddin (NZM) MEWAR Superfast. Generally due to Bo-Bo Wheel Arrangement, WAP- 5 struggles somewhat with 24 coaches,

and it is illogical to allot these high speed locos to haul mammoth 24 coaches long trains. Location is Asaoti station on the Mathura- Delhi stretch. Fixed link for this train is TKD WAP- 7.
The train follows the Udaipur City- Chittaurgarh- Kota- Sawai Madhopur- Bayana- Bharatpur- Mathura- Delhi Hazrat Nizamuddin route.

The 24 coach load in your video is lighter than this load - Gujarat Mail (24 coach rake with 12 AC coaches!). And BRC P5 is its regular link :D

I think this video is probably an appropriate indicator of WAP5's acceleration with 24 coaches.
The videographer is on-board 12480 Bandra-Jodhpur Suryanagari Express (24 coach superfast) led by BRC WAP5 30048 (AMUL). There is a speed restriction of about 15 km/h due to maintenance works.
P5 starts accelerating at 0:51 after clearing the speed restriction. There are two trains lined up - one after another at some noticeable distance.

Yes, WAP-5 cannot handle ICF trains with 24 coach load .
WAP-5 is designed for 17-18 coach LHB trains like shatabdi and intercity.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
