#Site-Suggestion
Dear #Moderator
I would like to bring your notice to the #Imaginary Trains section and make a request.
In the Imaginary Trains section I guess there has been a Unique Data Validation for the 'Train Number' as once a Train Number is taken while suggesting a train, that number can't be used again to suggest another train. However, I think...
more... that validation can be removed from this particular section. I would like to present following points to support my request:
1) As those trains are completely virtual and non-existent in reality, there shouldn't be any problem if more than one trains have same number.
2) Imaginary Trains use a completely seperate database table and there is no privilege to search for a imaginary train either by train number, or by train name. So there are no possibility to overlap with real-world trains.
3) If this goes on, at one point this section will be saturated and no one will be able to suggest any imaginary train.
4) Already saturation has been started to count, especially in the 'Superfast' category (12XXX/22XXX). Thus members are being forced to suggest trains with improper number formats. Though that doesn't matter for imaginary trains, but that looks an eye-shore.
5) Finally, in the 'Imaginary' section members not always suggest a completely new train, but they also suggest alteration in the existing trains too (like extention, days of operation, speed-up, change in route, change in CC etc). Now it is quite possible that different members can have different views over a same train. In this case they have to change the train number and that's a deviation from the reality.
Therefore I request you to review my suggestion and advise if the validation can be removed.
Thank You.
