Just like Tamilnadu, where SF Express are called "Ativega viraivu vandi " , Should we in AP and Telangana switch to referring to SF trains as "Ati Vega bandi"?? I believe it's "Ati Vega bandi or vandi" in Kannada and Malayalam respectively as well so they should follow suit.

Most of the places in Tamilnadu I've heard refer to the term "Superfast" as "ativega viraivu vandi". Coimbatore, Chennai Central, Chennai Egmore, most of Coimbatore - Katpadi Line. When there is a word in the language, the announcements should ideally use that word instead of the English term. Isn't that the beauty of local languages? It is obviously not mandatory but such a word does exists and it can be implemented on the lines of promoting the language in a way.

It's there. Among the 6 positions 2 are for Telugu . TB's are having Telugu and Kannada as well they've balanced the places with Hindi and English too.

That doesn't suffice your term as the term "most of the trains".

Recently I found many trains terminating at Chennai Central/Passing through Chennai Egnore/Passing through Perambur and terminating at other parts of Tamilnadu from Delhi, Mumbai, Howrah, Shalimar, Bhubaneswar, Puri, Vijayawada, Silchar, Dibrugarh , New Tinsukia, Gaya, Banaras, Firozpur, Vishakapatnam , Hubli , Ahmedabad, Ekta Nagar(Vadodara) came to light that these trains don't have Tamil TBs sadly. I want to ask the respective train zones to add Tamil TBs. Same logic for other Railway zones as well to ask them like this.
Also I found no Kannada TBs for trains bound for Bengaluru/Mysuru originating from Eastern and North Eastern part of our country.
...

Yesterday for an instance, I found 12686 Mangaluru MAS SF earlier it had Kannada in their large TB but now replaced with Malayalam will cause so much confusion for an newbie traveller for Mangaluru, so I complained in Railmadad for this to take action to re introduce Kannada TB as Mangalore is part of Karnataka not Kerala although it is lying near the border.

I am not posted this post to create language politics here please understand. But at the same time, the concerned CDOs starting the train should have the knowledge of what language is being spoken at the destination of that given train. It will eliminate confusion among passengers and I felt Hindi and English weren't spoken uniformly all over the country. Kind request, while replying, please don't do all types of language politics here, I am asking for the basic rights and questions here.

How to ask them? Or we should file RTI etc? Kindly help as soon as possible 🙏

IMO, Railways should design the board consisting of English, Hindi, Source station language, Destination station language in main board. each coaches can have passing by stations language as per requirement, for example. chennai mumbai can have 3 to 4 coaches with Kannada and Telugu. Chennai kolkatta can have few odiya, Telugu. In this way diversity also maintained, representation also maintained. standard protocol also maintained. If Hindi is state language of source/destination then one language can be reduced. This should become politically a norms in railways.

TBs should be in 4 languages. English, Hindi and languages of the origin and destination station.
For eg. MAQ MAS SF should have English, Hindi, Tamil and Kannada. But a train from KOP to NZM can have just three English, Hindi and Marathi.
English and Hindi are necessary coz they are the most widely spoken and understood languages in India. But regional languages must be there.

I've seen that the train boards mostly have Mangaluru in the name but the train announcements all throughout kerala refer to it as Mangalapuram. Can it be a local name for the city? It isn't official but many people do refer to it as Mangalapuram. What is the origin of this name?

That's Palakkad division's stupidity, nothing else.

It used to be announced as Mangalore/Mangaluru in Hindi/English and Mangalapuram in Malayalam only. Now they've changed it to Mangalapuram in all languages which confuses travellers from outside Kerala.
