It runs hours of late upto 4-5 hours.
4. Recently turned to LHB from ICF rake.
5. Equipped with Deen Dayalu Coaches.
Punctuality (3/5): I travelled by Gomti Express almost after 12 years. Earlier it used to be a super late train with average delay of 5-6 hours. and end to end travelling was generally avoided by the people.
But i tracked the recent runs in which It arrived Kanpur almost within half and hour. In my journey.. it got delayed by 10 minutes on NDLS, half and hour at Boraki and an hour at Hirangaon though it covered upto Bhaupur but later got crossed by 3 set of Rajdhani and Shatabdi Express some how it managed to reach Panki at 20.45 with delay of 1 hour 15 minutes.
Fooding (0.5/5) No catering service is provided! Even for water you are to be dependent of station vendors.
*Aligarh does not have any water outlet at platform no.2 and Too dont have water outlets at pf 2-3
Tundla, Ghaziabad, Shikohabad have water facility and Vendors. In case of extreme May Summers passengers were running on every halt for water points. Passengers are advised to keep water bottles and Food with you specially if children are travelling with you.
Charging points, Coach Condition, Seating (4/5)
Charging points were available between 2 window and all were in working condition. Coaches were neat and tidy. Seating was clean. The train is eqipped with modern coach LHB with neat toilets and huge window. Seating is as far as per im good condition.
