Vijayawada division locopilots association is protesting today to press for attention of their working conditions and demand
1. Each loco pilot is compelled to do 12-18 hrs I'm a day leaving no proper rest and family time.
2. Loco pilots are not given sick leaves and the rly doctors presribe fit for running on medication and don't recommend rest as they have orders from managements due to shortage of running staff.

5+ hrs for ALD-MGS section? Wow, slower probably than Passenger trains even. The PNBE Rajdhani starts 4 hrs later and reaches PNBE an hour before despite there being no mps difference and couple of stoppage differences only.
Better to have run a mail/express train with MORE stops to connect intervening stations as well. If the train has to be slow, might as well give it more stops.

Wow. Sakarni must be a major revenue provider to railway services in general; being everywhere from locos to inside metros.
