Onboard 02246 PNBE Gati Shakti Special (NDLS to PNBE)
During this Journey i observed that
1. Train 02246 and 02245 PNBE GATI SHAKTI SPCL is operating through NDLS -- OLD DELHI JN -- OLD YAMUNA BRIDGE -- SHAHDARA -- SAHIBABAD...., maintenance of this train is done by NZM coaching depot, NDLS depot rejected due to time nd space crunch)(As told by onboard train...
more... staff)
2. DADRI TO MARIPAT 4th line which is shown in IRI atlas as under construction is working as i saw in dark night onboarding 02246. Signals were lit and rail line were glowing in night. Further i came across some info which confirm that this line is working. However local member may confirm and accordingly info on atlas may be updated. (Attaching pic 1 &2)
3. At DDU (i am currently here in train 02246) -- Vyas Nagar to New West cabin DDU is shown as double line. However it is actually single line. Local member may confirm and accordingly info on atlas may be updated. (Attaching pic 3 &4)
4. Prayagraj to DDU 3rd line work is in progress. Around 70% earth filling and stone chips laying work is done. But main hurdle construction of several major and minor bridges are not yet started.
please wait...Translate to EnglishYo, so I was on this train called the 02246 PNBE Gati Shakti Special from NDLS to PNBE, right? And I noticed a few things during the journey.
1. This train operates through NDLS, OLD DELHI JN, OLD YAMUNA BRIDGE, SHAHDARA, SAHIBABAD, you know? It's maintained by the NZM coaching depot, 'cause the NDLS depot rejected it due to time and space issues. That's what the train staff told me, man.
2. So, this IRI atlas says that the DADRI TO MARIPAT 4th line is under construction, right? But when I was on the train in the dark night, I saw that the signals were on and the rail line was all lit up, you know what I'm saying? I even found some info that confirms this line is actually working. But you might wanna check with the locals to be sure and update the info on the atlas. I'm attaching a couple of pics (pic 1 & 2) to show you what I mean.
3. Now, at DDU (that's where I am right now on this train), the Vyas Nagar to New West cabin section is shown as a double line on the atlas. But it's actually a single line, man. Again, you might wanna double-check with the locals and update the atlas accordingly. Check out the pics I'm attaching (pic 3 & 4).
4. Oh, and by the way, the 3rd line work from Prayagraj to DDU is still in progress. They've done about 70% of the earth filling and stone chips laying, but they haven't started building the major and minor bridges yet, you know what I mean?
That's all the observations I got for you, bro.
