rahulashoksavegmail.com 474 blog postsArrive early and choose seat as per your choice. As per TTE on board, normal occupancy is about 45-50% average. Many do the same. Try not to go to an fully empty compartment. Probably no one will cater to you. Best tell TTE about changed seat in advance. Otherwise he might allocate the seat to someone else.
as non-veg option omlette is too tasteless.
For people who want to go to Hyderabad from Mumbai, but are unable to do so because of WL in all the trains from Mumbai, can go to Pune (by Volvo/taxi/some other train) & then take Pune-Secunderabad Shatabdi to Secunderabad. Tatkal tickets are also easily obtained in this train. Food is good too.
I would like to differ on the food part...they give some pathetic so called "biriyani"
This train leaves at 5.50 AM. Will not be very comfortable to take a train, taxi or volvo from Mumbai around midnight to go to Pune to catch Shatabdi. Tip is ok only in case of extreme emergency and no tickets are available from Mumbai in any train.

They have not yet changed LHB layout in system for this train? :O
If u wish to bunk college/office and unable to find a valid reason for that then try food of this train.You will find yourself in pain for next few days.
Food is 200% better than old vendor. Now food is loaded from Solapur. I have personally ate food from both vendor and new vendor is really good.
