The 12147 Kolhapur-Hazrat Nizamuddin Express will resume on January 16th, but will travel via a modified route, including stops at Agra Cantt, Mitawali, Ghaziabad, and New Delhi. The 14813/14 Jodhpur-Bhopal-Jodhpur Express will be making a six-month stop at Sureli station in the Jaipur Division of the North Western Railway, starting on January 10th. The 14813 Jodhpur-Bhopal Express will arrive at Sureli at 7:25 PM and the 14814 Bhopal-Jodhpur Express will arrive at 6:39 AM.

The broken wires extended for about 1.5 kilometers. The train's pantograph was also damaged. Tower wagons were dispatched from Kota and Shamgarh to repair the line. The incident caused delays for several trains, including the Jaipur-Coimbatore Duronto (12970), Amritsar-Mumbai West Deluxe Express (12926), and Pune-Nizamuddin Duronto (12263). The cause of the incident is still under investigation. The up line was restored to traffic at 9:10 AM after repair work continued overnight.
