The Pune-Danapur Express train has been extended to Saharsa railway station, providing convenience for rail passengers in the Saharsa region. The train, previously running from Pune to Danapur, will now travel through Khagaria and reach Saharsa. This extension is effective for train numbers 12149 and 12150.

पुणे-दानापुर एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन को अब सहरसा रेलवे स्टेशन तक विस्तारित किया गया है, जिससे सहरसा क्षेत्र के रेल यात्रियों को सुविधा मिलेगी। यह ट्रेन पहले पुणे से दानापुर तक चलती थी। अब यह खगड़िया होते हुए सहरसा तक चलेगी। यह परिवर्तन ट्रेन संख्या 12149 और 12150 पर लागू होता है।

The event was attended by various dignitaries including the MLA of Harda, Dr. Ramkishore Dogne, the former Minister, Kamal Patel, the President of the Municipal Council, Mrs. Inderjit Kaur, the District BJP President, Rajesh Verma, the Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Mrs. Rashmi Diwakar, and other railway officials. The five trains with trial halts at Khirkiya station are: 12149 Pune-Danapur Express, 12150 Danapur-Pune Express, 17020 Hyderabad-Hisar Express, 19483 Ahmedabad-Barauni Express, and 19484 Barauni-Ahmedabad Express.
