train (03211) from Patna to Gaya, which was scheduled to depart at 6:30 am, didn't leave until 7:30 am. Many passengers from the delayed train boarded the Singrauli Express when it departed at 10:30 am. When the Singrauli Express reached near Taimuri Halt, passengers cut the vacuum to stop the train and disembark. The driver, while fixing the vacuum system, allegedly used harsh language towards the passengers, leading one of them to throw a stone at him, injuring him. The train remained halted for about an hour at Nadol station. Railway police from Taregna and Jahanabad arrived at the scene and tried to reason with the driver. Train operations on the Patna-Gaya rail route have since resumed normalcy.

Due to ongoing third line construction work by the East Central Railway, several train services are canceled and rerouted from February 11th to 23rd, 2024.
