Mumbai-Ahmedabad Tejas Express: Ticket booking, cancellation and refund rules

Tatkal and Premium Tatkal quotas are absent; only general and foreign tourist quotas exist. Cancellation and refund rules follow Indian Railways guidelines with specific exceptions: waitlisted tickets cancelled within 4 hours before departure incur a Rs. 25 clerkage fee (compared to Rs. 65 on Indian Railways). Fully waitlisted tickets dropped due to no available seats receive a full refund, while partially confirmed tickets cancelled up to 30 minutes before departure receive a full refund. All passengers receive complimentary travel insurance of up to Rs. 25 lakhs. IRCTC provides compensation for delays exceeding one hour (Rs. 100) or two hours (Rs. 250) and automatic full refunds for cancellations. The train offers onboard infotainment, food and beverages included in the ticket fare, trolley service, RO water filters, and complimentary refreshments like welcome tea, breakfast, lunch/snacks, high tea, and dinner.
