The original Vande Bharat Express, an eight-car rake with 560 seats, was replaced with a rake of three 3-Tier AC and one 2-Tier AC coaches, totalling 238 seats. Southern Railway issued 'lower class travel' certificates to passengers to compensate for the difference in fare, and passengers who wish to get a refund must file a ticket deposit receipt (TDR) form. The original VB rake is expected to be operational by Sunday.
