Shatabdi having over 130 vacant seats in CC class and over 10 in EC class. The Vande Bharat Express from RKMP to Hazrat Nizamuddin has 660 vacant seats in CC class and 30 in EC class. Other trains, such as the Rewanchal Express and the Gondwana Superfast Express, have waiting lists for sleeper and 3rd AC classes. The Gondwana Superfast Express is canceled before Raksha Bandhan. Several trains to Mumbai also have waiting lists for sleeper and 3rd AC classes. Trains to Nagpur on August 17th also have waiting lists, with some even showing no available seats.

सिलचर-तिरुवनंतपुरम सेंट्रल एक्सप्रेस, चेन्नई एग्मोर-मंगलोर सेंट्रल एक्सप्रेस और डिब्रूगढ़-कन्याकुमारी विवेक एक्सप्रेस जैसी ट्रेनों पर असर पड़ेगा। ज्यादातर ट्रेनों को पोडानूर और ईरूगुर से होता हुआ, कोयंबटूर को बाईपास करते हुए चलाया जाएगा। यात्रियों को अपनी यात्रा की योजना इसी तरह से बनानी चाहिए।
