These trains were originally canceled on August 11th due to renovation works on platform 2 of Delhi Railway Station. The Delhi-Kurukshetra DMU train (14023/24) was resumed on August 28th following passenger demand, but it is currently only operating up to Shakur Basti. All trains running between Delhi and Bhatinda are operating normally.

Passengers face difficulty due to limited general compartment seats on other trains, as they are often booked. The Jaakhal passenger train, with all coaches in general class, is preferred due to lower fares. The railway has not announced a resumption date for the train, but any updates will be made public.

September 25th. The route change affected trains travelling between Rohtak, Faridabad, Palwal, and Mathura. The trains involved were: 11450, 16032, 16318, 16988, and 19804. The Punjab Mail (12138) was also scheduled for a route change from September 5th to 16th, but that has been canceled as well. Passengers traveling from Bahadurgarh to Delhi and Punjab are relieved that these trains will now continue on their original routes.
