Kolkata Express, and Ajmer Sialdah, are showing 'no room' or high waiting lists. This poses a challenge for students, employees, and businesspeople. To manage the influx, the railways added coaches to existing trains and introduced special trains, including two stopping at Koderma. The East Central Railway Hajipur's CPRO, Virendra Kumar, announced the operation of 21 trains on the New Delhi-Howrah Grand Chord and Main Line sections for the next 15 days. Among these, the 04813 and 04814 (Barmer-Howrah) and the 09335 and 09336 (Indore-Howrah Super Special) trains are operating via Koderma. Train 04814 (Howrah-Barmer Express) will run on March 21 and 28, while train 04813 ran on March 19 and 26. Other special trains have also been introduced to handle the holiday rush.

The timings of various trains passing through Dhanbad and surrounding stations have been revised, effective from April 1st. While earlier it was planned to halt at Govindpuri, the train will now stop at Kanpur Central station. The train departing from Barmer on March 26th will reach Kanpur Central station at 7:00 PM. The 04814 Howrah-Barmer Special train will depart from Howrah at 3:00 PM on Thursday, reaching Dhanbad at 8:50 PM and Kanpur Central station at 10:00 PM on Friday.
