Additionally, 11 train pairs have been rerouted, no longer going to Lucknow. The daily sale of general tickets at Bareilly Junction is estimated to be 10,000-12,000, with around 20 train pairs carrying this massive crowd. This equates to roughly 300 passengers traveling without reservations on each train. The situation is particularly worse on trains to and from Lucknow.
