Clone Express, and 04061 Barauni Delhi Summer Special Express, were diverted on Monday. These trains ran via Mankapur-Ayodhyadham-Ayodhya Cantt-Barabanki-Lucknow-Roza. Except for the 04060 Barauni-New Delhi Summer Special, all these trains will be running on the diverted route till July 4th. The railway department had already released a route chart regarding this.

These trains will now follow an alternate route via Basti, Mankapur, Ayodhya Dham Jn, Ayodhya Cantt, and Barabanki instead of the original route that included Mankapur, Gonda, and Barabanki.

Vaishali Express (02563 Barauli-Delhi) and the Sampark Kranti Express (02569 Darbhanga-New Delhi), are considered special trains, leading to higher fares and unpredictable schedules. Including them in the timetable will eliminate these issues. The board has also approved the inclusion of several special trains in the timetable, including those running between Gorakhpur and Bandra, Chhapra and Panvel, Gorakhpur and Delhi, Gorakhpur and Amritsar, and Chhapra and Anand Vihar. These trains will operate according to pre-determined schedules, eliminating the need for individual railway zone approvals for seasonal special trains.
