The Tejas Rajdhani, scheduled to depart from New Delhi at 5:10 PM on Sunday, was delayed by 13 hours and 55 minutes, arriving at Patna at 7:05 AM on Monday, resulting in a total delay of 17 hours. The Sampoorna Kranti Express was delayed by 14 hours. 24 trains to and from Patna on Monday experienced delays, and the Mahananda Express was canceled. While the Tejas Rajdhani and Sampoorna Kranti Express departed on time from Patna on Monday, the situation in Delhi and other cities where visibility was low due to fog impacted flight services to and from Patna, causing further delays and cancellations. The first flight to Patna on Monday arrived from Lucknow at 12:35 PM, delayed by 1 hour and 25 minutes. 24 other flights also faced delays, with some experiencing delays of up to 24 hours. Due to flight cancellations and delays, passengers faced long queues at airline ticket counters. Airlines offered full refunds for canceled tickets and rerouted some passengers on other flights.
