This SS body rake was very good..... no paint required and exterior can be cleaned easily. Inside also dosen't require painting much. Maintenance cost is little less. I had suggested that this 1 rake can be kept in SER and as shuttle service between PKU-HLZ and PKU-DGHA additional service. 1 extra new train between PKU-HLZ and 1 extra new train between PKU-DGHA section with PM of rake at PKU Carshed. But SER wanted 100% 12 coacher ...so they exchanged this BEML rake with a 9 coacher TWL rake EMU rake from SDAH Division. And that EMU rake of ER SDAH Division had both Inside and outside full painting required and SER had to repaint that rake both inside and outside and required extra costs. Inside was fully Blue painted and outside was Green-Yellow painted in all coaches. So SER had to repaint those coaches again in phase-wise. Don't know what...

Apart from this there was a major exchange of EMU rakes in last 2 yeras between SER, ER, CR. Few years back ER HWH/ SDAH Division received 4 nos EMU old rakes from CR. In exchange for that 4 nos new ER MEDHA EMU rakes maked for ER including 1 no Pink EMU got transferred to SER. And later 4 nos SER marked new MEDHA EMU rakes got transferred to CR Kurla EMU carshed. So a whole lot of rake exchange happened between these zones.
