Some images (of RNQ station) I had captured while boarding my train 12873 from Renukut to Anand Vihar T . One thing I had encountered was that train was running at 105 to 109 between SBDR and CAR . Is NCR constantly upgrading the sp[eed in this section? But as soon as the train was approaching the stn, it started crawling.
I have also uploaded a video of train running at MPS between KRJ and AJR.
THat was a great run by 12873 but the problem is between CAR and PRYJ ....

I don't know why the train was crawling at some stations between MZP and PRYJ but not much delay was produced.
At CAR following trains overtook 12873:
1. Sealdah Vadodara Summer Speci lSF
2. 12877
3. 14037
4.82501
Following trains we overtook:
1. Sealdah Vadodara at PRE(Pahara just after a few minutes departing from CAR)
2. GAYA ANVT Summer Special at SKB with ICF rake with WAG-9.(I have attached that clip too).
Others(videos):
1. in the 2nd video skipping MZP at a decent pace and accelerating (might be around 70 - 80)
2.. Some MPS action in the last part of the journey (KRJ station).
3. When we were departing from Chopan Station and on the other side was MDJN KOAA EXP was also ready to depart.

2. 12873 at PRYJ on PF 3 while on PF 1 was LALGARH PRYJ SF(last pic) . We arrived PRYJ with a minimal delay of 30 mins.
Finally we reached ANVT before time at 12:49. This was a great run.

I told you, delays are mainly due to the train being out of slot. And you can't gauge the real issue unless you really travel. You traveled and you can see the train was before time and had a good run overall.

DDU to PRYJ section runs way over capacity, so trains usually crawl there. About crawling before stations till Chunar, it may be due to non upgraded interlockings and TSRs due to that. If any other train would have been there instead of 12874 , it might have been given good run despite being delayed .. NCR meherbaan hai 12418 , 12802 , 22582 pr aise toh maine bhi dekha hai 22858 ek baar heavily delayed thi aur 12873 RT . But fir bhi usne 12873 ko OT kiya tha

You forgot to mention Prayagraj Humsafar and the NCR's golden child Prayagraj Express itself. Even Magadh, the orphan in NCR, Godda Humsafar, et cetera. They, too, would've OT'd your unrequited love somewhere.

And yeah, 12873/74 pairs are the biggest 'victims' in this country, NCR waits for the whole week and makes elaborate plans just to get them overtaken. Discrimination.

other trains are absolute favorites of NCR controllers, don't you know they're welcomed with garlands and flowers whenever they enter the NCR territory by GM/NCR himself.

And you know what, they could've doubled the Chopan-Chunar section long ago and all the tracks would've been upgraded to 160kmph already. But just because the 12873/74 will also use them, NCR is making all their favorite trains suffer by not doing this.

Keep 'tracking' this train mindlessly all you want, day in and out, no one cares. Just don't throw a tantrum here every time it get OT'd by any other train. Get a life man.

Raja Babu ne WIMT pe overtake track karne ho apni zindagi ka lakshya bana diya hai, who are we to question that.
Mai toh waise bhi 11057 Mumbai Amritsar Express mein Burhanpur se Narmadapuram (Hoshangabad) haa raha hoon sabse overtake khaate hue. Dukh yeh hai ki iss train ke koi "fan" nahin 😂
