It has been reported that Train no. 18309 (Sambalpur- Jammutawi Exp) departed from Latehar at 23:22 hrs of 23.09.2023 dacoity has been reported between Latehar and Barwadih by unidentified masked group of 15 persons in coach no. S9. As per preliminary report, minor injuries have also been caused to 07 passengers. Matter come to light after train departed from Barwadih at 23:56 hrs of 23.09.2023 train has been controlled at Daltonganj since 00:37 hrs and corrective action is being taken.

श्री सुवोमोय मित्रा, संरक्षा आयुक्त (रेलवे), पूर्वी सर्किल, कोलकाता द्वारा आज दिनांक 14.09.2023 को धनबाद मंडल के 200 किमी लंबे गढ़वा रोड-पतरातू तीसरी लाईन परियोजना के अंतर्गत 25 किमी लंबे चियाँकी-रजहरा रेलखंड का निरीक्षण किया गया ।साथ ही संरक्षा आयुक्त (रेलवे) द्वारा स्पेशल गाड़ी से सफलतापूर्वक स्पीड ट्रायल भी किया गया। इस अवसर पर धनबाद मंडल के मंडल रेल प्रबंधक तथा धनबाद एवं निर्माण विभाग के अन्य उच्चाधिकारीगण भी उपस्थित थे ।

More than 4 hours late running 18102 Jammu Tawi Tatanagar Express arriving Platform 5 of Tatanagar with Santragachi WAP-4 22894. The train was entering the platform, around 6-7 coaches had entered when ACP happened. The train halted at the moment for 3-4 minutes, blocking the entry at both, PF 4 and 5. Didn't take any train pics.
