It’s nearly confirmed that the South Western Railway (SWR) is changing the terminal of Train No. 16511/12 SBC-CAN Express from SBC to SMVB, citing improvements in pitlines at the YPR yard. This move is yet another injustice to the Mangaluru region. Notably, they haven’t even considered changing the terminal for Train No. 16527/28 YPR-CAN Express, which originates from YPR itself. It’s time to reconsider whether Mangaluru should come under SWR’s jurisdiction.

RB approves extension of Tr No. 16511/12 SBC-CAN Express upto ClT. Another injustice to Coastal Karnataka!
SWR's priority is to satisfy people of TN and Kerala instead of Karnataka!

I have mentioned the number of SR and SWR trains in every sector. For SBC SA sector I have not counted CR trains like Chalukya, LTT CBE, 17235/36, SGNR TPJ HMS, Okha TN etc.
Similarly for MAS SBC sector, not counted ECR, ER, NFR trains.
Just counted SR and SWR trains only.
Which 56241 you are talking about?

My point is that all the SWR trains which go to SR territory are all very old trains introduced decades ago when SWR wasn't formed. After SWR was formed those trains got transferred to SWR.No new train was introduced since then.Only UBL RMM is new as Rameshwaram is a piligrimage many people visit from various places that too it is weekly

All SWR trains of earlier big SR era are continuing. Also SWR is running more trains to SR area than SR trains inside SWR area. So, be happy.
Just check what happened to MG era MAQ MYS Mangala Fast Passenger and MG era Mangalore Miraj Mahalakshmi express?

You are correct. Even MAS SBC mail used to be SR train , then when new SWR formed, some trains were given to SWR like Bangalore mail, Sangamitra when it got extended etc,. People here are fighting for no reason.

Train to SSPN got stolen and given to Shivamoga - no one talks about it lol and mentioned it as "extended", but its not extended its diverted
