Amul liveried BRC WAP5 # 30059 at Pune on Sunday, 18-Oct-2015, at morning 07:20 hrs! The loco brought 11087 Veraval-Pune Exp (from Ahmedabad to Pune)!

Please don't worry! SER / ER / ECoR will also soon shift towards 3-Phase Locos! Of course, the process will be slow. However, CR/WR/NR/SR/SCR are the first ones. It is surprising to see that ER / SER is as old as CR / WR / NR (in terms of electrification / electric loco shed, etc) and still, they are not moving towards three phase locos!
Regularly keep your eyes and visit twice or thrice times in every months in elocos website for know the latest status of newly allotment of elocos locomotives sheds update. click here
November 2015 next month CLW will stopped production of all conventional types locomotives like WAP-4 / WAG-5 / WAG-7.
Thereafter only energy efficient environment friendly IGBT based 3 phase locomotives like WAP-5 / WAP-7 / WAG-9 will be manufactured. I think 25051 SRC will be last WAP-4, 28770 ED and 24700 BL is last WAG-7.
