Such a sad incident, after train crossed people are still making videos of ravan, this shows that people has no care for self too...
People must aware that tracks are not a part of their home or fun place..
Also the punjab govt should punish who organise this function without proper permission...

Organisers are the main culprit here along with the spectators present. How could you gather 1000s in number near a site with mass destruction potential? And I heard that the chief guest ran away after the incident. She is a doc and could have helped in providing proper first aid to the injured at the site. Govt can do nothing if people themselves don't care for their lives.
Sir the situation is very grave we can understand. How many trains were there?? It is still not clear.

Horrible train accident took place at amritsar.....people were standing on the track to watch Ravana Dahan (dusshera) suddenly trains came from both direction ...1)DMU 2)ptk - ASR exp ....and more then 50 people were killed ...
Actually more then 200 people were killed ....bt officials saying 50 only
