This was the last journey I undertook before the pandemic struck us down. I had been on a trip to Tuticorin, while coming back, I decided to break the journey in Chennai. I boarded the 16106 Express from Tiruchendur to Chennai Egmore, and boarded the Vasco-da-Gama weekly Express from Chennai Central.

Is there any reason why this train has not been restored even after the restoration of other trains ?

Also, it looks like the frequency of UBL - GTL - MAS train has been reduced from bi weekly to weekly.
