On September 3 and 4, several trains in Visakhapatnam have been cancelled due to a lack of rakes. The New Delhi-Visakhapatnam–AP Express (20806) leaving New Delhi on September 3 will run via Nagpur-Raipur-Titlagarh-Rayagada-Vizianagaram instead of the usual Balharsha-Warangal-Vijayawada-Duvvada route. The Visakhapatnam-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express (18519) leaving Visakhapatnam on September 3 will run via Guntur-Nalgonda–Pagidipalli instead of Khammam-Warangal-Kazipet. The CST Mumbai-Bhubaneswar Konark Express (11019) leaving CST Mumbai on September 2 and 3 will run via Pagidipalli-Nalgonda-Guntur instead of Kazipet-Warangal-Khammam. The Bhubaneswar-CST Mumbai Konark Express (11020) leaving Bhubaneswar on September 3 will run via Guntur-Nalgonda-Pagidipalli instead of Khammam-Warangal-Kazipet. The Shalimar-Hyderabad East Coast Express (18045) leaving Shalimar on September 3 will run via Guntur-Nalgonda–Pagidipalli instead of Khammam-Warangal–Kazipet. The Ernakulam-Howrah Antyodaya Express (22878) is diverted on July 22nd and 29th via Renigunta, Yerraguntla, Nandyal, Guntur, and Krishna Canal. The Santragachhi-Tambaram Antyodaya Express (22841) is diverted on July 22nd and 29th via Krishna Canal, Guntur, Nandyal, Yerraguntla, Renigunta, and Chennai Egmore. Several other trains have also been rescheduled with delays ranging from 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours. Additionally, certain trains will be short terminated at Chennai Egmore instead of Tambaram due to safety works and yard remodeling in the Chennai division.

Visakhapatnam Chennai express has RSA with Shirdi express and both trains have good demand. 1 1AC, 1 2AC and 2 3AC or 2 3ACE can be added to make the rake 22 coach.
