Agree.. weird decision hai ye.
I've traveled thrice in this train DLI to JUC.. timings aur route wahi wala better tha.. abhi Hoshiyarpur midnight utaregi.. end to end connectivity wali train jo overnight thi usko midnight me pahuncha rahe hain ab.. wo bhi Shatabdi wali time departure dekar..

Shree Shakti slot given to it, which has been pushed back by 1.5 hours.
NR & Delhi Division is killing MEMU services between Delhi & Panipat, previously overtaking was never done but after introduction of CDG Shatabdi, it is becoming a new normal. Looks like Shree Shakti & CDG Shatabdi will now overtake 3 MEMU Trains while USK will overtake early morning's first MEMU departure from Panipat.

Btw newly converted Kalka intercity is slated to depart at around 4 PM and reach CDG by approx 9 PM, so Chandigarh will have 2 Express trains reaching almost at the same time alongside Shatabdi.
Patronage of both Shatabdis won't be affected at all. I am a daily commuter between CDG and NDLS. Shatabdi will always remain first priority in this route. Even we prefer to board NDLS-CDG Shatabdi Exp from NDLS rather than boarding NDLS-KLK shatabdi.
